ABBREVATIONS EXPLAINED
SL (STOPLOSS)
A predetermined price level where an investor will exit a trade to limit their losses, typically placed below the purchase price for Long/Buy positions and above for Short/Sell Positions.
TGT (TAREGT)
The anticipated price level at which an investor plans to sell a stock or asset to lock in profits.
CMP (Current Market Price)
The most recent price at which an asset or security was traded, providing a real-time snapshot of its market value.
CE (Call Option)
A financial contract that gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to purchase a specified quantity of an underlying asset at a predetermined price within a specified time period.
PE (Put Option)
A financial contract that gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to sell a specified quantity of an underlying asset at a predetermined price within a specified time period.
Intraday
Refers to trading strategies where positions are bought and sold within the same trading day (intraday)
BTST/1Day
A trading strategy where stocks are bought with the intention of selling them the following day to take advantage of anticipated short-term price movements.
STBT/1Day
A trading strategy where stocks (Derivative) are Sold with the intention of Buying them the following day to take advantage of anticipated short-term price movements.
